Volunteering at home or on your own schedule:
____ Data entry (school directory or other database related projects)
____ In-kind support (ask for donated items to support school events or activities)
____ Writing articles or content for school communications or website
____ Creating flyers/invitations for school events
____ Technical support for computer related projects
____ Legislative and levy support (assist PTSA legislative chair)
____ Parent education support (research topic areas and speakers)
____ Grant Writing
One-time event volunteering:
____ Grade-level event lead (chair or co-chair one event during the school year)
____ Event support (help out at events during the school year)
____ School tours for prospective students and their families (mornings in February and March)
____ Staff Appreciation (donate and prepare refreshments at certain times throughout the year)
Daytime volunteering:
____ Attend a morning work party (8-9:30am) – a variety of projects throughout the school year
____ Assist with mailings or photocopying
____ Lunchroom supervision
____ Library support
____ Help in a classroom
____ Student tutoring
